We understand that flexibility matters, and we want to ensure you have a smooth experience when your subscription comes to an end. If you decide not to purchase the device, you still have several options to choose from.
1. Upgrade Your Device
If you’d like something newer, you can upgrade to a newer model at the end of your subscription.
Simply return your current device and begin a new plan with your upgraded choice.
2. Renew Your Subscription
Renewing your subscription is simple! Once your subscription term ends, your plan will automatically switch to a pay-as-you-go plan at the same monthly rate, so you can keep using your device without interruptions.
However, if you prefer to extend your subscription for a longer term, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Cinch account.
- Click on 'My Account'
- Click on 'My Subscriptions'
- Select the device that you wish to extend your subscriptions
- Click on 'Extend'
- Lastly, choose the new term you’d like to extend to and click ‘Extend’
3. Return the Device
If you decide not to continue with the device, you can schedule a return:
- You can schedule your return anytime within the last 30 days of your rental term.
- Before the last date of your subscription term, you must schedule a return with us to occur within 5 working days of the last day of your term.
- If the return is completed after the 5-day window, your plan will automatically switch to a pay-as-you-go plan at the same monthly rate..
Returning Your Device? Here’s How to Prepare:
- Back Up Your Data: Ensure that all data on the product is backed up. Cinch will not be liable for any data loss.
- Factory Reset: Ensure the device is reset to factory settings before returning it. Failure to do so will incur a MYR165 fee.
- Original Packaging: If the original packaging is not included, a MYR165 fee will be charged.
- Original Accessories: Charges for missing or damaged accessories will be based on current market retail prices.
- Device Condition: If the device is returned with damage, a diagnostic will be conducted. You will be notified of any required repairs and charged 10% of the repair cost.
- Water Damage: If water damage is detected on your device, it will be considered a buyout. This means you’ll need to purchase the device. The buyout price is calculated dynamically at the time of assessment, based on the device’s current value. Our team will inform you of the exact amount once the device has been inspected.
- Secure Packaging: Ensure the device is sealed in secure packaging to prevent damage or loss during transit
