A device is considered a total loss if it has suffered water damage or has been declared as a total loss by our repair partners. Devices classified as total loss are not eligible for Cinch Damage Protection.
In these cases, the device will be treated as a buyout. This means you will be required to purchase the device.
The buyout price is calculated dynamically at the time of assessment, based on the device’s current value. Our team will inform you of the exact amount once the inspection is complete.
